October 6-9 – Annual meeting of the Provincials, Consulta and Fr. General in Rome. The work of CTF-SOS DRS is presented and discussed. 

October 11 – CTF Central meeting [Rome]

October 11 - WMR Intentions [10/11-10/24]

October 16 - Fr. Scott returns to Haiti to resume CTF-SOS DRS relief activities – Project Perpetual Help Haiti

October 16 - Fr. Aris Miranda, MI joins Mushtak in Pakistan for assessment/relief mission.

October 16 – Project Perpetual Help Haiti - 3rd month of the Feeding and Microfinance Programs in Carcasse, Haiti (Diocese of Jeremie). carcasse is on the southwestern coast of Haiti between Jeremie and Port Salut

October 17 – The Adminitrative Director of Health Services in Maule, Chile gives a placque to the CTF and Misericordiae  as a gesture of gratitude for their gift of 2 prefabricated modules for the hospitals in Parral (pediatric) and  in Cauquenes (internal medicine)

October 19 - Project Perpetual Help Haiti - Continued implementation of the Help the Spiritans Program. The program is directed at helping to rebuild the damaged structures of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit in Port au Prince and to assist it as the Congregation recovers from the earthquake – particularly as concerns the living situation of seminarians and priests.   

October 20 - Project Perpetual Help Haiti - Implementation of the Sponsorship Program for Students in Port au Prince (full tuition one-year scholarships for primary and secondary school students affected by the earthquake – 70 students). The Program wll be carried out in conjunction with area schools and St. Michael the Archangel Parish
