October 12 – 25, 2009

General Rosary Intention: That the Lord in His Divine Mercy – through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary – may build up His Kingdom, make these mysteries a reality in our lives, strengthen us in our common mission, and come to the aid of those for whom we pray.

Africa (Green Beads)
Intention: That the Lord Jesus through the intercession of Saint Genevieve, the Patron Saint of Drought, may come to the aid of those affected by drought in Somalia and elsewhere. May the Lord help all those affected by man-made and natural disasters in Africa.
Oceania (Blue Beads)
Intention: That the Lord Jesus through the intercession of  Saint Emygdius, the Patron Saint of Earthquakes, may come to the aid of those affected by the earthquake in Padang, Indonesia. May the Lord help all those affected by man-made and natural disasters in Oceania.
Europe (White Beads)
Intention: That the Lord Jesus through the intercession of Saint Vitus, the Patron Saint of Sicily, may come to the aid of those affected by the rainstorm and mudslides in this country. May the Lord help all those affected by man-made and natural disasters in Europe.
America (Red Beads)
Intention: That the Lord Jesus through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patron Saint of Mexico, may come to the aid of those affected by the hurricane in that country. May the Lord help all those affected by man-made and natural disasters in America.
Asia (Yellow Beads)
Intention: That the Lord Jesus through the intercession of  St. Rose of Lima,  the Patron Saint of the Philippines, may come to the aid of those affected by Typhoon Ketsana in that country. May the Lord help all those affected by man-made and natural disasters in Asia.
